Ex-Amotekun commandant hails Sani on new appointment
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Chief Amitolu Shittu, has congratulated Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State on his appointment as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General in charge of Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilisation.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Osun State, Amitolu described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that it is a recognition of Uba Sani’s long-standing commitment to grassroots mobilisation, democratic ideals, and party building.
He recalled their days of activism under the late legal icon, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, SAN, who fondly nicknamed Uba Sani the “International Organiser” while dubbing him (Amitolu) the “International Mobilizer.”
“Those appellations were not mere nicknames. They reflected Chief Fawehinmi’s deep understanding of our strengths, capacities, and unwavering dedication to the struggle for justice and good governance.”
