Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Olaide Olabanji, has strongly criticised his colleagues  in the Yoruba movie industry over a recent video showing their support for President Bola Tinubu’s second term in office.
The actor famous for his roles in Nollywood movies said that most actors have now turned into slaves for politicians.
He made this statement in a video posted on his Instagram page recently.
The actor said in Yoruba, “Your job isn’t enough for you to feed anymore? It is, but you are just not satisfied. All of you have now turned into slaves for politicians.”
Reacting to the video, actor Yemi Solade commented, “On Bola’s mandate dem dey stand because na the mandate create Nollywood, right? We shall see the outcome. Thank you @laideolabaanji for making my evening with this post.”
The video, which has now gotten reactions from fans and social media users, is said to be targeted towards some Nollywood actors who recently stepped out to support President Tinubu.
In an earlier video, he  posted on February 27, he said, “The money you are using to bribe people to vote for you, buy many buses for the campaign, can be used to turn the country for good…. ,” he said.
